Cold Trailer Playbook teaches how a refrigerated trailer rental business works. We want you to go in with clear eyes, so here's the honest part.
No promise of income
We don't promise or guarantee that you'll make any money. Starting a business involves risk, including the risk of losing money you put in, such as a trailer purchase or loan.
Calculator results are estimates
The calculator and the "your numbers" figures in the guide are simple estimates based on the numbers you enter (daily rate, how often the trailer is booked, trailer price, loan terms and monthly costs). They leave out many real costs and risks, such as repairs, taxes, slow seasons, competition and unpaid rentals. Your real results will be different.
Examples are illustrations
- People in the guide's stories, such as Marcus, Andre, Jenna and Curtis, are fictional examples written to show how things can work. They aren't real customers or testimonials.
- References to other operators (for example "the operator in the video") describe what those people have said publicly. We haven't verified their results, and they aren't typical or expected outcomes.
- Prices, rates and costs in the guide are ranges we found in published listings and sources at the time of writing. They change and vary a lot by area.
What results depend on
How a rental business does depends on many things we don't control: your local market, competition, your prices, the trailer you buy, financing terms, how much time and effort you put in, the economy, and plain luck.
Not professional advice
The guide is general education. It isn't legal, tax, insurance, accounting or financial advice. Talk to qualified local professionals before making decisions such as buying a trailer, taking a loan, choosing a business structure, or signing contracts.
