These terms cover your use of coldtrailerplaybook.com and the Cold Trailer Playbook guide (together, the "Service"). The Service is run by [OWNER LEGAL NAME], doing business as Cold Trailer Playbook ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying the guide, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Your account
- You need an account to use the guide. You sign in with an emailed link or with Google.
- Keep access to your email and Google account secure. Anything done from your account is your responsibility.
- You must be at least 18 years old to buy the guide.
- One account is for one person. Please don't share your account or sign-in links.
2. What you get
- Without a purchase: Steps 1 and 2 of the guide.
- Full guide (one-time purchase): Steps 3–14, the bonuses, the toolkit downloads, free updates while the guide is offered, and the guide assistant for 1 year from your purchase date.
- We may improve, reorganize or update the guide over time. If we ever stop offering the guide, we'll give buyers at least 30 days' notice to download the toolkit files.
3. Payment
- Purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar is the seller of record for your purchase, collects any sales tax or VAT, and emails your receipt. Polar's buyer terms also apply to the payment itself.
- Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. The new-student price applies for 7 days after you create your account. After that, the regular price applies.
- It's a one-time payment, not a subscription.
4. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. In short: within 30 days of purchase, as long as you've opened fewer than half of the guide's pages. If a refund or chargeback is issued, access to the paid parts of the guide ends.
5. How you can use the guide
- The guide, toolkit and all their content are owned by us and protected by copyright. When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable license to read the guide and use the toolkit templates for your own business.
- You may edit and use the templates (contracts, checklists, scripts, spreadsheets) in running your own business.
- You may not copy, resell, share, publish or distribute the guide or toolkit (or substantial parts of them), or use them to build a competing product.
6. No professional advice, no guarantees
- The guide is general education about starting a rental business. It isn't legal, tax, insurance, accounting or financial advice. Laws, permits, insurance and taxes vary by place. Check with qualified local professionals before you act.
- The contract and other templates are starting points only. Have a local attorney review them before you use them.
- Results vary. We don't promise any level of income or success. See our Earnings Disclaimer.
- People and businesses in the guide's stories (for example Marcus) are fictional examples unless clearly stated otherwise.
7. The guide assistant
The guide assistant is an automated tool that answers questions using the guide's content. It can make mistakes. Don't rely on it for legal, tax, insurance or financial decisions. We may limit how many questions can be asked per day to keep the service available for everyone.
8. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. For example: don't try to break into accounts or systems, scrape or bulk-download the guide, send spam through our forms, or use the Service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Sections 5, 6, 10 and 11 continue to apply after your account ends.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
- We aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Service or from decisions you make based on it.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the guide.
Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you live in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll post it here and, for buyers, email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
